Privacy

Last updated: May 2026

Your memories are personal. We try to handle them the way you'd want a family member to — carefully, privately, and only for the purposes you asked for. This page explains, in plain language, how that works.

Private by default

Items are private by default. Photos, videos, recipes, handwritten notes, family stories, provenance, insurance details, and home inventory entries are never made public automatically.

Sharing happens only when you choose it — privately with yourself, with family members in your household, by a share link, or (only if you opt in) as a public listing for sale. You can change the visibility of any item at any time.

What we store

  • Guest items are stored on your device until you create an account.
  • With an account, your items are saved privately to your account so you can reach them from any device.
  • Basic account info (email, sign-in details) and items you create.
  • Files you upload (photos, videos, document scans) in private storage.

How AI features use your content

When you ask for AI help — for example, drafting a description from a photo, transcribing a handwritten recipe, or generating a slideshow — the relevant content is sent to a trusted AI provider to produce that result. We don't use your content to train public AI models.

AI can be wrong. Please review anything it generates, especially handwriting transcriptions, names, dates, and prices, before relying on it.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your information.
  • We don't share your private items with advertisers.
  • We don't run an addictive public feed — there's no algorithm pushing your memories at strangers.

Your choices

  • Change the visibility of any item at any time.
  • Delete items individually or in bulk.
  • Close your account whenever you'd like.
  • Reach out via the Support page to ask questions or request a copy of your data.

Children & family use

This app is built for families. If a child is helping document memories, please use it with a parent or guardian present.
